Practicing What We Preach: Building Anti-Racism into Our Organizations
Throughout my career in the field of power based violence, I have noticed that organizations and staff do not implement the very ideals they project outwardly. When staff does not feel safe they cannot properly serve the community. It is time to ensure that our organizations implement equity and inclusion from the inside out. This interactive workshop aims to provide participants with tools around trauma informed leadership, DEI, and anti-oppression approaches to organizational culture change.
