Engaging the Faithful: Strategies for Collaborating with Local Faith Communities to Support Survivors

“Engaging the Faithful” will allow you, as an advocate or community educator, to reflect on the impact faith communities have in the lives of survivors and the barriers your agency experiences when collaborating with urban, suburban, or rural faith communities. This session will explore creative and innovative practices for navigating the barriers you and your agency face and guide you in crafting (or refining) a strategy with actionable steps to engaging your local faith communities.
